Yummy!
Hazel definitely is Scottish! She loves her oats in the morning... (she wasn't so keen on rice cereal!) She started eating on September 10th, and will soon be trying sweet potato and squash
that her mom made! We can't decide if she really likes eating or is just happy to finally get the spoon out of our hands so she can help!
Her single tooth (on the bottom) is slightly visible (see 3 new pages of photos in the photo album) and sprouted on September 3rd.

Ultimate Day!
Here is Hazel with our friend Kristen, who has been nice enough to entertain Hazel every single weekend at Mommy and Daddy's 'Ultimate Frisbee' games.... (if you don't know what that is, do an internet search and you'll learn plenty!!). This picture was also taken on her Six Month Birthday, after her traditional party at her Grandad's house!

I'm Six Months Old!
Hazel is now half a year! She weighs about 15 1/2 lbs (the doctor thinks she's not gaining weight very fast, but I think she looks pretty healthy!), though she probably isn't a porker because she doesn't stop moving from morning to night!!
Hazel has sprouted a single bottom tooth, and likes to stand and jump (whether it's being held or in the actual jolly jumper toy!). She can roll back and forth all over the place, and can turn in different directions on her belly, but doesn't know about the wonders of crawling yet! She can sit up pretty well, but still needs 'correction' so she doesn't end up on her face!!
Hazel smiles all day long and loves to interact with everyone she meets... we really did get lucky with this happy, yummy baby!!
